Unrestrained…a Bahá’í ring by Baha’i Gems

Here is one of our best selling items.

The Unrestrained ring, like all the products on out site was also inspired by the counsel of in the Bahá’í Writings to be “unrestrained as the wind” when carrying the Message of God. We are but instruments that should -as feathers in the wind, be guided entirely by God.

The ring features feathers carved all round the ring and there a smooth piece with the Baha’i ring symbol engraved on it.

Made of .925 sterling silver. You can purchase this ring for USD 39.95 plus shipping.

Bahá’í ring symbol…what does it mean?

As promised, here is the post about the meaning of the Bahá’í ring symbol. We used one of our Baha’i rings to show the actual symbol. Here it is along with the explanation…

Mr. Faizi explains that: “One of the believers who had the bounty and privilege of attaining the presence of the beloved Master has recorded one of His oral statements which shows that this emblem was initiated by Him. No less a person than ‘Abdu’l-Bahá could have designed this emblem, for who else could have condensed so much of the divine mystery into so little space and into so few letters!”

Unity Baha'i ring

The explanation taken from a letter written on behalf of Shoghi Effendi to an individual believer, February 28, 1938:

“The inscription upon the Bahá’í ringstone is the symbol of the Greatest Name, Bahá, who is the Manifestation of the essence of God. It is also symbolic of the three planes representing the World of God, the World of Revelation and the World of Creation.”

‘Abdu’l-Bahá said about the stars on either side of the symbol:

“Upon the horizon of Eternal Glory two luminous stars have arisen in brilliance: one to the right and one to the left … this is the mystery of the appearance of the Beauty of Abhá and of the Supreme Highness (the Báb). And though these two diagrams at the right and the left have the form of stars, they also represent the body of man, with the head, the two arms and the two legs, since this diagram has five points.”

In addition, Mr. A.Q. Faizi wrote: “The two five pointed stars on both sides of the emblem represent the human body: a head, two hands and two feet. These two stars represent the twin Manifestation of God in this Day. Their advent is the fulfillment of all the writings of God’s prophets in bygone ages, Who, emphatically, repeatedly and often, in a language clearer than the light of sun, assured mankind of the undoubted appearance of these Twin Luminaries, Who would rescue the world from the fetters of prejudice and the dictates of self.”

Most of our rings and Baha’i pendants have this symbol. The others either have the Baha’i Greatest Name or the design was simply inspired by the teachings of the Bahai Faith.
